I find that looking and thinking about the art that I love is an important way for me to better understand my own artistic preferences and sensibilities....in this video I chat about How I look at art books to help me think about my own artistic tastes

When looking at other artists work, I have no interest in copying, I only ever want to create art that feels authentically and truly mine. In looking at other artist’s work and approaches, I’m interested in my response, my reaction, the elements that I’m fascinated by.
