Candidate for the Southern Highlands Regional seat Peter Nupiri is challenging the declaration of William Powi.

In a press conference on Sunday, Nupiri claims Powi’s declaration was based on unofficial election tally that do not correspond with the results at the Agiru counting center.

Nupiri said he will challenge the decision in court.
