Many of the classes in World of Warcraft will be receiving a major overhaul in Legion, Shadow Priests are not the exception. Blizzards intent: bring back the distinctive features of each class. Shadow Priests lack representation in WOW lore and one can argue they lack a "true" identity, not quite a priest, not exactly an Affliction Warlock either. New abilities like: Void Form, Shadow Mend and a different kind Insanity may be precisely what the class needs and what the players want.

I like the broad so far. More changes will be happening in the future both prior to as well as during the beta.
