Camping At Cleburne State Park | Texas State Park Camping & Exploring

On one of the hottest days of 2018 Ms V and Me headed out to spend a couple of nights in Cleburne State Park. Located southwest of Cleburne Texas, Cleburne State Parks is a great place to spend a week or week end camping and relaxing.
Cleburne State park is one of the many Texas State Parks built by the CCC during the New Deal Era. A few of the original constructions in Cleburne State Park that were built by the CCC are still in use and functioning today. The Cedar Lake dam is a great example of the work done by the CCC. At almost 100 years old it is holding water just as well as it did when it was completed!
Make sure to ad Cleburne State Park to your list of places to camp! Just do it when the tems are cooler not on the hottest weekend of the year!
