Homemade Water Hammer Arrestor For Irrigation System.
Has eliminated water hammering when the sprinkler valves turned on and off. My neighbor stopped blowing sprinkler valves and lines when they made one for their system; maybe it will work for you too!
The regulator is expensive (now) but the other items like PVC cement, piping, and fittings are not as bad.
$ 5- 10.00 for piping
$ 6.00 for PVC cement
$ 10.00-20.00 for PVC fittings
$ 10.00 for PVC pipe cutter if you don't already have one.
$ 100.00 -200.00 for regulator depending on the pipe diameter size etc.
