Hội An 😍 The Most Beautiful Town in Vietnam! 😋🇻🇳

We have been visiting Hội An for over 20 years and it is one of our favourite places to stay, eat, spoil ourselves and relax when visiting Vietnam.

It is a charming and picturesque town in Central Vietnam known for it's ancient architecture, amazing food and vibrant culture. With it's pretty narrow winding streets, traditional brightly coloured houses and balmy lantern-lit evenings, Hoi An offers glimpse into Vietnam's past in a stunningly beautiful, bustling atmosphere. It is an easy and relaxing place to visit.

The people are warm, funny and happy to help you have the most incredible stay ever.

Over 2,000 years old, it was once a major trading port where traders stopped from all over the world. As a result, Hoi An is a melting pot of cultures, influenced by Chinese, Japanese, and European traders who left their mark on the city's architecture, cuisine, and traditions. The city's distinct blend of influences has earned it a designation as a UNESCO World Heritage site.

There are beautiful colorful wooden boats that you can ride up and down the river, spend lazy days eating freshly caught seafood (at really affordable prices) on An Bang beach or visit a local herb farm and eat dishes prepared from the freshly picked produce.

Hoi An is also renowned for its food. The city boasts a wide range of delicious and diverse dishes, including the famous cao lau, mì quảng, white roses, banh mi, and many other local street foods. You can explore the local markets, take cooking or lantern making classes and sample a wide variety of flavors that make up this unique cuisine.

A huge choice hotels and restaurants, varying in style, price and facilities mean you can visit on a budget or spend a bit more and live like a king. You can fly into Danang international airport which is a very easy 45 min drive from the ancient city.
