A viewer's request from our audience 'The Roccostar'. Streamlined Pacific of PRR K4s vs B&O P-7. The PRR K4s #3768 was Pennsy first attempt to streamline their steam locomotive in response to the new superstar in the railroad industry at the time: The Pioneer Zephyr of CB&Q and The M-10000 streamliner of Union Pacific. 'The Best Pacific' K4s was chosen to be the first streamlined engine of PRR.

PRR #3768's shrouding was designed by noted industrial designer Raymond Loewy while B&O's P-7 #5403 was designed by America's first female engineer and designer Ms. Olive Dennis.

We tried to make both trains hauling the same load but we also wanted them to tow the passenger equipment of their own railroad company. Therefore, we assigned the PRR's #3768 hauling the 1938 version of the Broadway Limited, while the B&O P-7 leading an extended consist of the Cincinnatian.
