Mughlai cuisine comes from the era of the Mughal Empire in India, famous for its dishes that are rich, creamy, spiced, and royal-inspired. The word Mughlai itself means food prepared in the style of the Mughals’ royal kitchens, often using ghee, nuts, dried fruits, and fragrant spices to create luxurious and flavorful dishes. This egg curry is cooked in that royal-inspired style, but made simple enough for home cooking. In this video, I’ll show you how to make Egg Curry – thick, tasty, and perfect to enjoy with steamed rice, naan, chapati, biryani or roti canai.

Masakan Mughlai berasal dari zaman Kerajaan Mughal di India, terkenal dengan hidangan yang kaya rasa, berkrim, penuh rempah, dan berinspirasikan gaya diraja. Perkataan Mughlai sendiri bermaksud makanan yang dimasak mengikut gaya dapur diraja Mughal, biasanya menggunakan ghee, kacang, dan rempah wangi untuk menghasilkan masakan yang mewah dan penuh rasa. Kari telur ini dimasak dengan gaya berinspirasikan diraja tersebut, tetapi dipermudahkan untuk masakan di rumah.
