Greetings from germany. You can soon call it punishment if you decide to repair a RECEL pinball. And that’s (almost) how it was in this case too. The quality of the soldering tin used at the time was so poor that countless wires came off just by looking at it. You are forced to check EVERY cable individually to see whether it is still firmly attached to the relay contact soldering point. But I gritted my teeth and after endless hours, UNDERWATER was ready to play. All in all a typical EM pinball machine from Spain of those years. Great in terms of design - rather average in terms of gameplay. The pinball machines from the manufacturer RECEL are clearly based on the technology from Gottlieb Pinballs. And anyone who knows Gottlieb knows that they built primarily for the operator and secondarily for the players. So it's a tough device that requires really good skills to beat such a pinball machine.
