Nutrition International (NI) works to combat malnutrition among adolescents, women, and children in India by promoting and scaling up targeted nutrition interventions. It supports state governments in enhancing adolescent nutrition programs through better access to Weekly Iron and Folic Acid Supplementation (WIFS) and nutrition education for in-school and out-of-school adolescents aged 10–19. NI also strengthens the quality of interventions under the RKSK program in select districts and aids in planning and implementing the Anaemia Mukt Bharat initiative. NI-India is currently conducting two Implementation Research (IR) projects: Elevating Quality Nutrition Services Across the First 1000 Days in Gujarat and Uttar Pradesh and investigating the barriers and reasons for low adherence to IFA and calcium supplementation. Saarthak was hired to develop the BCI strategy for: first 1000 days of life IR project, Maternal and Calcium supplementation IR project and Adolescent health and Nutrition project. Animations were developed as per approved concepts and scripts in MP4 versions along with other BCC materials.
