Spanish subject pronouns, also known as personal pronouns, are necessary for all beginners to learn.

You’ll often hear native speakers leaving the subject out of a sentence entirely and replacing it with one of these Spanish pronouns...

First person singular: "Yo" (I)
Second person singular: "Tú" or "Usted" (You)
Third person singular: "Él" or "Ella"(He or she)
First person plural: "Nosotros" (We)
Second person plural: "Vosotros" or "Ustedes" (You all)
Third person plural: "Ellos" or "Ellas" (They)

In Spanish personal pronouns can be masculine, feminine, singular, and plural. But don’t be confused by all the different forms!
