Best high schools in Florida - List released

Pencils down. Individual schools across the state have received grades through the website Niche, to show how statistics and opinions stack up.

The site used statistics like reading proficiency, graduation rates and even detention rates are factored in with opinions and ratings given by parents and students.

Suncoast Community High School in Riviera Beach ranked 6th in the state with an A+ rating. Alexander Dreyfoos Schools of the Arts in West Palm Beach ranked 9th. Boca Raton Community High School came in at 26th. Jensen Beach High School came in 40th place in the state.

The site also lists details regarding school districts. Martin County School District ranks first in the state, Palm Beach County School District 11th, Indian River County School District is ranked 18th.
