This video will go over what Altitude Sickness. Altitude sickness (also known as Acute mountain sickness AMS) is experienced by some people when they are at a high enough altitude. Altitude sickness normally occurs at heights above 2500 meters, but can occur at lower altitudes.
The symptoms of Altitude sickness are very similar to having the flu, and it has three main forms, these are Acute mountain sickness (AMS), high altitude pulmonary oedema (HAPE) and High altitude cerebral Edema (HACE), the later of the two can prove to be fatal.
