Wild Camping in the Deep , Dark Forest as Winter hits the Mountains

The forecast for the summits was wild and wintry so we set up base camp in the Rothiemurchus Forest and then set about getting to the snowy summit before the sun dropped below the horizon.... it was a close call! A fantastic woodland wild camp ad it was great to see the snow return on the higher Cairngorm Mountains....
