Carnyx - The Bodach (Doomed Dungeon Synth, Horror Synth)

A cautionary tale of fog, forgotten myth, and things that stalk the moors in the dead of night…

On this slab of doomed, mysterious dungeon synth - we wade through the sludge of dank bog and navigate through heavy fog, desperately trying to escape a forgotten past in pursuit of the present, with a dark fervour of ancestral anger.

“The Bodach” pulls in influences from old-school doom metal (CANDLEMASS, BLACK SABBATH, UNCLE ACID & THE DEADBEATS, WINDHAND, ACID WITCH), 80’s horror movie scores, 90’s dark fantasy video game soundtracks - all stirred in the cauldron by the Witches' season.
