डॉक्टर Chemotherapy का चयन कैसे करते हैं?
डॉक्टर कीमोथेरेपी तय करते समय इन बातों का ध्यान रखते हैं:

Cancer Type: हर कैंसर के लिए अलग दवा संयोजन (drug combination) की ज़रूरत होती है।

Cancer Stage: शुरुआती स्टेज के लिए हल्की दवाएं, जबकि एडवांस स्टेज के लिए अधिक प्रभावी दवाएं दी जाती हैं।

Patient’s Health: युवा और स्वस्थ मरीज आक्रामक Chemotherapy सह सकते हैं, जबकि वृद्ध या कमजोर मरीजों को माइल्ड थेरेपी दी जाती है।

Side Effect Tolerance: यदि किसी मरीज को गंभीर साइड इफेक्ट होते हैं, तो दवाओं की मात्रा और संयोजन बदला जा सकता है।

उदाहरण: पेट के कैंसर में कीमोथेरेपी का चयन
कमजोर या वृद्ध मरीजों को हल्की कीमोथेरेपी दी जाती है — जैसे Cisplatin या Carboplatin।

मध्यम फिटनेस वाले मरीजों को तीन दवाओं का Combination जैसे ECF (Epirubicin, Cisplatin, Fluorouracil) दिया जाता है।

युवा और फिट मरीजों को आक्रामक Chemotherapy जैसे FLOT (Fluorouracil, Leucovorin, Oxaliplatin, Docetaxel) दी जाती है।

यही तरीका अग्नाशय (Pancreas), डिंबग्रंथि (Ovary), और मूत्राशय (Bladder) जैसे अन्य कैंसर के मामलों में भी अपनाया जाता है।
