Using a Drywall Flat Box on High Ceilings

The house we’re working on right now has high ceilings in the great room, and these guys knocked them out using a drywall flat box.
They set a pump directly in the mud bucket and use it to fill the flat box.
Using stilts and the long handle they were able to finish the ceilings without scaffolding.
I’ve never seen anyone use automatic tools before, so I was skeptical at first- but I was impressed by how much it sped the job up while maintaining quality.
There are several different companies making these boxes and they are available in multiple widths.
The guy showed me where there’s a blade carrier dial on the tool that lets you adjust the mud output depending on what you’re doing.
Here they are putting a skim coat on in the bedroom.
Now the room is sanded and ready for a coat of level 5 primer. ‪@hausplans‬
