Why Trudeau's Gun Bans Are Doomed To Fail

Описание к видео Why Trudeau's Gun Bans Are Doomed To Fail

When Jean Chretien and Alan Rock's Liberal government created the long gun registry in 1993, its annual cost was estimated to be $2M. Less than a decade later the cost had ballooned to over $2 billion. But Justin Trudeau's recent gun bans are going to put that waste to shame. It is inevitable.

Created in the image of New Zealand's rifle ban, Canada's gun bans ignore that our country has an exponentially larger population, vastly higher gun ownership rate, and huge geographic area - to say nothing of their total ignorance of the fact that the vast majority of the guns they seek to ban are untraceable.

The result? A Quixotically untenable proposition that cannot be completed, and like the long gun registry before it, will simply consume more and more taxpayer dollars in the pursuit of the impossible. Thus, until the bans are repealed, there is only one accurate estimate of the cost: Infinite.
