1. Submit Your Visa Application: Once your visa application is processed, you will receive a Biometric Instruction Letter (BIL) if you are required to provide biometrics (fingerprints and photo).
2. Locate a Biometric Collection Service Point: Visa Application Centres (VACs): Check the IRCC website for the nearest VAC in your country.
3. Book Your Appointment: Once logged in to the VAC website, follow the instructions provided in your BIL to schedule an appointment. The system will guide you to available time slots and locations based on your preferences. After selecting your slot, you will receive a confirmation of your appointment. Make sure to print or save this confirmation.
4. Attend the Appointment: On the day of your appointment, bring your BIL, valid passport, and any other required documents. At the appointment, your fingerprints and photo will be taken.
6. Follow Up on Your Application: After submitting your biometrics, your visa application will continue to be processed. You can check the status of your application through your IRCC account.
