When Destinee Wright transferred to the prestigious University of Virginia in 2011, she had more urgent concerns than getting good grades or acing an exam. Wright was homeless, alternating between sleeping in the library and in her car. "I just didn't have the resources to afford going to UVA and to pay for a place to stay, so I just made the decision to sleep out of my car and use the money that I had to pay for tuition," she told WCAV. UVA's Office of African American Affairs helped her find housing and funding. After graduating in 2017, she's now a thriving entrepreneur. #InsideEdition
