$15 - Mint 3-Month plan (0:22)

Mint Mobile’s 3 Month Small Plan gives you 3 months of service for only $15/month. You get unlimited texting and calling with 3GB of high-speed data, and after that unlimited 3G data. We like this plan because Mint lets you use your phone’s mobile hotspot, and not all carriers offer that perk. Keep in mind using your hotspot will eat into your data allotment, so be sure to keep an eye on your usage. After your initial 3 months of service, the price will increase by $10 to $25/month.

$20 - Gen Mobile international plan (0:57)

Gen Mobile offers Unlimited Texting and calling with 3GB of data for only $20/month for three months. We love this plan because you get to use your hotspot, and you get unlimited international calling and texting to 100+ countries. Gen Mobile also gives you a 15-day text freebie. So if your plan expires you get half a month of texting for no cost at all.

Good2Go’s 3GB made our list because you can take $5 off the total cost when you enroll in autopay making the cost only $20/month. PLUS G2G is on AT&T’s networks which has solid coverage across the country. This plan doesn’t come with a hotspot or international calling and texting, but for $20 a month, this is still a good deal.

$25 - Sprint Unlimited Kickstart (1:53)

The best plan on our list comes from Sprint with their Unlimited Kickstart Plan. For $25/month you get unlimited talk text AND high-speed data. Some downsides to this plan are that it doesn’t come with hotspot use, and it doesn’t come with unlimited international service like a few of our other top picks. But if you want unlimited data, and have good sprint service in your area, this is a really great option.

$19 - Tello Smart Plan (2:10)

Tello’s ready-made Smart Plan is $19/month for unlimited talk and text plus 4GB of data! WE REALLY like this plan because Tello just lowered their prices, and along with unlimited domestic talk, this plan comes with free calling to Canada, Mexico, and China. And you get to use your mobile hotspot for free. Tello runs on Sprint’s nationwide network.
