Home automation is an often overlooked component in a state of the art home theater system. We discuss how Control4 can manage all 3 of the Audioholics Showcase home theater systems to operate smoothly with just a single remote control and/or Smartphone App. We plan on taking it to the next level by streaming high resolution audio around the home and creating lighting events. To do this, we discuss how a stable network must first be established as well as choosing the proper equipment to achieve all of this functionality. This is part 1 of many videos to come as we revamp the Audioholics Showcase Home to the 21st century with the latest in smarthome technologies.
