Just finished the "dry build" of my BSA B40 trials bike which is built largely of spare parts. The motor is a B40 which has been converted to side points from the original distributor although I'm using a self generating ignition, a later model standard transmission with a lower gear ratio primary chain drive and a 16 tooth to 58 tooth final drive, Certain front forks, Triumph Tiger Cub widened rear hub with a new rim and SS spokes, later trials bike front wheel, and new fenders and seat. I will be disassembling to repaint all the steel parts in the near future.
