Other details to consider when studying this film:

In a Ball Screen Situations:
What type of screen and roll coverage does he see from the primary (guarding the ball) and secondary (guarding the screener) defenders?
How does he use or reject the screen to get the defender off balance & create an advantage for himself (look at different setups and attack angles & changes of speed)?

In all assisting situations:
Where is the defense? Be sure to locate primary (on ball), secondary (first line of help), & tertiary (helping the helpers) defenders. The secondary and tertiary defenders will dictate the pass most often!
What spot does he pass to (direct or lead)?
How are his teammates moving in response to his movement (Stationary, Cutting, Screen & Roll, Screen & Pop etc)?
What type of pass does he use to his teammate (Air, Bounce, 1 or 2 Hand Pass, Hook Pass, Lob, Fake the Pass to Make the Pass, Jump Pass etc.)?

What does he do to make off ball defenders to leave their man?
What does he do, at times, to surprise the defense with certain passes (hint: watch where he directs his head and vision!)?

Other Considerations:
What footwork & rhythms does he use off the dribble if he needs to create an advantage and pull the defense off balance?
When does he choose to either attack, change directions, or step back (hint: watch how the defender bites on certain moves or bodies up)?
What angle does he take?
