1/10 scale RC Kaelble truck test run

This is the last of 4 Kaelble (Kaelble Z6W2A 130) trucks that I've needed to set up with a radio system. This particular example also has my self made (simulated) diesel motor using twin tandem 540 class motors, a self made example of the 10 speed transmission and self upgraded (from static) tandem rear axles complete with lockers. When complete this model will fully utilize 8 channels. There are only lights/sound (das Mikro) and an ESC for a winch control to be added. This example shows just a basic flat bed as I've not yet constructed the rear bodywork.

Note these are not off road vehicles, they were intended to pull extremely heavy loads but on paved roadways. The models while very powerful and strongly built cannot handle much rough handling and their great weight ( more than 50 pounds) can work against them.
