Ajuy Fuerteventura - Incredible Caves, Sea Views & Natural Beach! A visit to the West Coast of the island to see the Caves of Ajuy (Las Cuevas de Ajuy) and the town of Paraja

We visit the West Coast of Fuerteventura to see the village of Ajuy. Famous for its caves, which are a protected natural monument on the island. We walk the cliff trail and take the steps down into the impressive caves. You can explore as much as you like by scrambling across the rocks to get the best view of the sea. Afterwards we walk along the natural beach of Ajuy, with its black volcanic sand to see another mini cave on the other side of the beach. There are a number of local restaurants in Ajuy serving good seafood. However, if you prefer you can head to Paraja. The nearest town has a number of places to eat and drink and there is a lovely church in the centre of the town square. If you have a hire car on Fuerteventura then this is the perfect day trip!
