We have been traveling full time since November 2020. Our current goal of visiting all 50 states has been delayed due to smoke, pandemic, and limited transportation. But we haven’t given up. Instead, we’re going to slow down a little and enjoy the drive.

We find ourselves in Colorado at the base of the worlds largest mesa, The Grand Mesa. This is one experience we think everyone deserves.

We wanted to take a different route than was suggested, so we decided to enjoy it off-road truck and take the most winding road on the western side directly up to the Lands End Observatory. We're do glad we did. Even though the road can handle cars that are not required for off-roading, it does turn into gravel and we recommend caution first.

So, what can you do there? Many trails, lakes, and views give splendor to an epic camping haven. Plus, the historic sites and picnic options with a great location to paraglide from, really round out this must do travel destination.
