Billboard praised the singer-songwriter and actress, saying, “IU is irreplaceable. While there are many figures excelling in specific fields as popular idols, skilled musicians, talented actors, or charismatic hosts on broadcasts and variety shows, IU is the only one who excels in all of these areas simultaneously.”

In an interview with Billboard, IU shared her thoughts, saying, “It’s a bit humbling, a bit surreal, and honestly, it feels really special,”

Meanwhile, IU is gearing up for various activities, including the release of her Netflix series "When Life Gives You Tangerines" in 2025, filming for an upcoming MBC drama with the working title "21st Century Crown Prince's Wife," and continuing her music projects.

On Tuesday, the production team of the highly anticipated film Harbin , directed by Woo Min-ho , unveiled an IMAX poster that highlights the breathtaking visuals featured in the film.
The movie has also topped overall reservation rates and had its release in IMAX theatres confirmed.

Harbin is a tale of Korean independence activists in the early 1900s who risked everything to resist Japanese rule and fight for Korea's freedom. Set in Harbin , China, the story follows these brave individuals as they embark on a bold and dangerous mission.

Harbin is the first Korean film to be “Specially Formatted Exclusively For IMAX.” Key sequences will utilize the expanded IMAX screen to provide viewers with an immersive experience.

The movie stars Hyun Bin , Park Jung-min , and Jo Woo-jin , and is set to premiere on December 24.
