SHOCKING History of Apple River Nicolae Miu | Family Tells | He is Facing 97 Years in Prison

The trial of Nicolae Miu, the man accused of the fatal 2022 stabbing on the Apple River, began on April 1. Nicolae Miu, 54, is faced charges of first-degree intentional homicide for the death of 17-year-old Isaac Schuman and multiple counts of attempted first-degree intentional homicide for his alleged role in the stabbings on July 30, 2022. The now-54-year-old man was a mechanical engineer from Prior Lake, Minnesota. He had been in jail since the stabbing. He claimed self-defense. After the altercation accured, Issac Schuman was sadly pronounced dead at Lakeview Hospital in Stillwater. The other four victims - Rhyley Mattison, 24 and three young men, ranging in ages from 20 to 22, - were taken to a different hospital, where they remain in stable condition. Nicolae was ultimately found guilty of lesser chargers and is now facing up to 97 years in prison. His sentencing is scheduled for July 31st, 2024.
