"Keep Breathing the Breath of Life" May 19, 2024 10am Contemporary Confirmation Service

Today we celebrate Pentecost, the day God poured out His Spirit upon the disciples.  Their lives were changed as they went from hiding to boldly proclaiming the Gospel of the Jesus Christ to the world.  Today many people feel life is like living in a “valley of dry bones”, hopeless.  Today’s theme brings us good news.  Ezekiel is looking over the valley of dry bones, and God asks, “Can these bones live?”  The answer?  “Yes, dry bones can live!”  There is hope for all of us as God breathed the breath of life in us.  Therefore, keep breathing in the breath of life that keeps you alive in Christ to be faithful and carry out the work He has called us to do.
