Blue Horizon Music Video

The Carousels released Blue Horizon today (July 26th 2024). The video is shot at The Round Emporium, Doncaster because that's where I met Earl Gunn and we became friends.
Earl did not have the best of times here on Earth. He, like many others, did not cope well with what life threw his way.
Earl was an intelligent, funny and unusually caring soul when I knew him.
No matter how badly he treated everybody around him during his later years, his legacy remains, a "throw away" mention of his mate looking to start a band leading to the formation of The Carousels.
30 years later, we are about to celebrate a special anniversary, we met on a Doncaster doorstep because of Earl's foresight and we remain extremely grateful to him.
We recently discovered that Earl died alone last December, cremated by the council along with the others nobody cared for that week.
I had just been to visit him, I think I was the last person to speak to him. We had a laugh about our old days working together.
Earl has gone somewhere, perhaps it's The Blue Horizon and perhaps he has finally found happiness there...
I was personally glad to have known him and The Carousels at least will miss him
