What is the Smoothest Rollerball Pen Sold Today?

What's the best rollerball pen refill ever? I honestly don't know yet, but I can tell you that I think the smoothest is the Ohto Ceramic Rollerball refill in 1.0mm ( http://amzn.to/2CZnugb , but usually cheaper from Jetpens).

I've tested a lot of rollerball pens and refills, so I got what I found to be the smoothest and then matched them with the smoothest paper I could find, the Maruman Mnemosyne Project Notepad ( http://amzn.to/2FfW4Zy ). I came up with the smoothest rollerballs of 2018:

And, the winner was the Ohto Ceramic Rollerball refill in 1.0mm ( http://amzn.to/2CZnugb ). It's crazily consistent and smooth, and it doesn't let out too much ink and pool when you change the direct, like many 1.0mm inks. It can bleed a little bit if you have paper with noticeable fibers, but it's super smooth nonetheless.
