Devastation Evoker - Zekvir Harmode ?? - 600 Ilvl - completed 22nd of November 2024 after Nerfs to both Brann and Zekvir.

Priorities in this fight.
1) Survive. If you can live this fight you will eventually kill it.
2) Kill Cocoon's(optimally before it turns to spider). It's better to exert cooldowns to dependably kill the cocoon than it is saving them for spider.
3) Interrupt Zekvir heal. This becomes even more important p2. When it heals for 25% instead of 10% p1.
4) Play around Brann. His potions leave a HoT that stacks. Just like his traps leave a stacking DoT. If Brann dies you can survive as long as you notice potions and prepare them for a HoT. Also, if you glow yellow, you have a damage reduction making you immune to CC, such as Enfeeble Spittle and the ear!
5) Damage on Zekvir. It's a kill even if it takes 20 minutes.

Very important, if Zekvir is about to cast Smash or Web, don't go to the add yet. Smash often goes on Brann, who might be wrongly positioned, but Web ALWAYS goes on you. And in p2 you wanna face Zekvir 45-90 degrees away from the cocoon to bait it, so you can do free damage.

Best of luck to you all, Devastation Evoker is a good challenge, but use Hover with care. Like monk roll it'll move you in the direction you're going, unless you're standing still, then you'll get the buff without the "jump" forward. And it's best to have for when needing to dodge+do damage!

And uhm, for Enfeeble Spittle, yeah. You save your Deep Breath for that, as Deep Breath makes you immune to ANY movement impairing effects, snares, slows and roots!

In the Evoker tree:
Zephyr into Terror of the Skies.
Time Spiral into Regenerative Magic. Cause I liked the idea of some leech while moving around. Felt good honestly.

It's a questionable choice, but I wanted to have the stun incase of dealing with a spider. Which never happened, Devoker is incredible at dealing with cocoon, so feel free to alter talents!

Hero Talents are the same as taken.
I never considered other talent cause this one felt good, and I liked the Unrelenting Siege along with the cleave Scalecommander offers, the focus on Disintegrate for this challenge is very powerful!

In the Devastation tree:
Inner Radiance into Imposing Presence. Zekvir can heal every 30 seconds, so being able to interrupt every 20 seconds instead of 40, is immensely needed.

Save for that, you can keep the rest!

Stats: Mastery is actually not a bad stat for this fight due to cocoon's, but currently Mastery seems to be a weak stat for Devastation Evokers, so I happily went with my Haste and Crit with some good versa sprinkled all over it!

1) Darkmoon Deck: Ascension. I fucking love this trinket.
2) Quickwick Candlestick.

Embellishment:
Darkmoon Sigil, ALL THE WAY! And ofcourse it is with the Nerubian empowerment, to make it double trouble. Make it a triple with my trinket!
