Full-duplex rocks, half-duplex doesn’t, and modern networks can use full-duplex everywhere. So why bother talking about half-duplex? Humans make mistakes, and automatic processes might as well. So, to be well-prepared networkers, you need to understand both half-duplex and full-duplex.
