TRIESTE Italy | Marella Explorer 2 | Adriatic Delights | Solo Cruise

Day 4 of my week long solo Adriatic Cruise and we've travelled to Italy and the port of Trieste on board the Marella Cruises cruise ship Marella Explorer 2

Trieste had a veteran's parade on the day we were on port with some excellent marching bands and a splendid backdrop of wonderful architecture.

Although I have been to Italy quite a few times, this was a new port for me. I just had a wander through the town and out to the harbour to check out the yachts and boats.

Then it was back on board the ship for an afternoon of relaxation on the pool deck, dodging the liquid sunshine, before yet another evening of fabulous entertainment.

A relaxed an enjoyable day all round, reminding me how much I enjoy visiting Italy.
