L4D2: Deadenator (Special Delivery - Expert)

This campaign took 4 hours to complete. The 1st chapter was scary because we were split up for the first minute and the places we were dropped off were RNG. There was also a car with an alarm that we had to walk on, so there was a guaranteed tank from the car alarm. The 2nd chapter was the most difficult part of this map. There were two different versions of this chapter, one forward and the other reversed. The map loaded the reversed version in this session. Supplies were scarce and there was some path RNG as well. The last half of this chapter was why it was difficult. Climbing down the ladder and opening the sewer door was awkward because the SI climbed up the building and dropped behind us. There also weren’t any more supplies at that point. On top of all that, SI were able to spawn in the saferoom at the end. On one attempt, someone made it into the saferoom but a jockey got them. The 3rd chapter was surprisingly easy. We had T2 guns and supplies seemed more generous. This chapter also had two different versions with path RNG on both of them. Even though there weren’t any differences between these two versions aside from daytime and nighttime, I was glad the map loaded the daytime version since most of this map was already set at nighttime. The 4th chapter, however, was almost as difficult as the 2nd chapter. It was a long chapter with path RNG. On most of the attempts, we had to walk up the building stairs with SI waiting around the corners. There was always a tank or witch in the narrow parts of the building and SI kept spawning with them.

Special Delivery: A variation of Hard Eight, with the maximum number of Special Infected raised from four to eight. Additionally, the spawn timer of Special Infected has been removed. To offset the larger number of Special Infected, Common Infected along with Uncommon Infected do not spawn. Special Delivery is the first community Mutation officially released for both PC and Xbox 360, created by Rayman1103 from his custom Mutations mod.
