MAR Ambassador, Dr. Nina Snowden, shares reflections, insights, and lessons from her PGY1 intern year in OBGYN residency.

Nina Snowden is an outgoing graduate of SGU and matched into a categorical OB/GYN position at the Medical College of Wisconsin. She has a non-traditional route to medicine, having been a Registered Dietitian for about 15 years. She is also a mother of 4, pursuing medicine out of a personal tragedy. She hopes to contribute to the improvement of healthcare throughout communities that are less fortunate.
