The objective of the Geo-Video competition is to develop short videos explaining various geotechnical concepts that could be used in classrooms at various levels (elementary school through college) and by the lay person to understand geotechnical principles.

"Experimental Demonstrations of Dynamic Soil/Structure Interaction" is the third place video in the 2016 competition. It was created by a team from the University of Texas at Austin.

The Geo-Institute is a technical society with about 12,000 geotechnical engineers and geologists as members. Find out more or join at http://www.geoinstitute.org.
