This is my 55th video that focuses on Kayembe. He will be 2 years old next week...October 26th. Kayembe was the first "zoo born" gorilla born at the Cleveland Zoo (CLEMETZOO).
He is also the first baby gorilla raised by a surrogate mom from day one!

Birthdates: Mokolo 7/10/87, Fredrika 6/5/74, Nneka 9/23/98, Kebi 1/13/91/ Tusa 12/2/89, and Kayembe 10/26/21, and Kunda 7/19/23.

The Conservation status of the Western Lowland gorilla is “Critically Endangered”.
