BUas pre-study portal
In this first episode of the international student series, we'll discuss the BUas pre-study portal.

After applying for one of the BUas programmes via Studielink, you'll receive a password to log in to one of the BUas systems. Of these systems, the BUas pre-study portal is the most important one for you at this time. On this portal, you'll find all the information you need to prepare for studying at Breda University of Applied Sciences.

You'll see different tiles. The first and very important one is called ‘Progress’.
A traffic light will show you the progress of your application.

By clicking on the domain tile on the right, you'll see all the information you need about ordering books, laptop requirements and your start at BUas. Information specifically aimed at internationals can be found under the ‘International’ tile, so you can scroll down and click here for the international section.

Additionally, you’ll find practical information about our student counsellors, housing, Dutch bank account, visa and residence permit, and many other subjects.

You can see a link to the student portal in the right corner. Here you'll find your study timetable, marks, etc. So you start with the pre-study portal but switch to the student portal once you're on campus.

Tips:
• Find the BUas pre-study portal through: MyPortal.buas.nl
• Change your password immediately
• If your log-in credentials do not work, you can email [email protected] or visit the Service Desk at the BUas campus.
