Choosing a good web hosting company

“Does any body know a good web host?” is one of the most frequently asked question.

Therefore, I’m making this short video to help anyone who is asking the same question to find out which web host is good for them.

In this video, I will do a live demo showing you a live-interaction with the web host support for asking a few common hosting questions most newbie will need helps with.

The reason why I am doing that is because there are many moving parts that make a good web host including service stabilities and the after sales support which I believe is the most important aspect that my decision is based on.

In most of the web hosting company’s website, there are lot of information talking about their service level, and they are easy to read, and therefore I will leave it for now and let you to decide what service level and hardware specs is more suitable for your needs

However, the focus in this video is to find out how good or bad the web host’s support service is.

Today we’re testing out “Siteground.com” which is a hosting company established since 2004, their servers are located all over the world.

They have a simple pricing structure - startup US$4.95 a month, grow big US7.45 and the top gogeek at US14.95,

If you’re just starting out, I highly recommend the startup package at US4.95 a month, it has all you need to make a stable website. however, if you need to run more than 1 website, you may consider Growbig as it allows you to host multiple websites in a single hosting account.

From my own experience, the best of site ground is their 24x7 manned help desk support, I prefer to have live chat with the support team by real technicals who seem to fix problems/queries within 15mins (usually much quicker)

The the most commonly asked questions including DNS settings, subdomain setup, email setup, etc
