Nagaland to conduct the Urban Local Bodies elections after 19 years

Nagaland is prepping up to conduct the Urban Local Bodies elections after almost 19 years, with the last held in 2004.
State Election Commissioner, T Mhabemo Yanthan through a notification issued today directed to conduct general election to 3 Municipal Councils and 36 Town Councils. The notification has directed the elections to Municipal and Town Councils to be conducted with 33 percent reservation to women
