BlazeCut 3D printer Fire Suppression demonstration

BlazeCut automatic fire suppression system for 3D Printer in enclosures.

This demonstration is to show the speed and efficiency of suppressing a 3D Printer fire using the BlazeCut T-Series systems with it discharging and suppressing the fire in under 17 seconds from it starting.
Fires in 3D Printers can start form a range of different sources and this fire test is only showing one of which there is a simulated short circuit in the PCB and wiring.

BlazeCut's T Series system contains the fire extinguishing agent HFC-227ea, which is a UL and globally recognised clean agent that leaves no residue after discharge.

We were able to set fire to this 3D printer twice as we conducted two fire tests with the same setup.
After setting fire to the printer twice, we are now using it in our production facility as a fully working printer for some basic prototype development printing.
The fire damage was minimal with only having to repair some wire that were burnt.

The enclosure size shown is suitable for BlazeCut systems from standard T050E to high performance T100E.
