Absu - Manannán (guitar cover)

I'm finally back! It's been too long but I've returned in style with an Absu track. I've been meaning to cover them for a while, but it just hadn't happened for whatever reason. Now I'm itching to do some more tracks... She Cries the Quiet Lay-hay-hake!!! Anyway, Mannanán is one of my favorites, a badass track practically entirely played on one string, which is hilarious and awesome.

The music video is similarly epic, when you couple the eccentric dancing and headbanging of Proscriptor with the nonchalant, almost irritated-looking expressions and (lack of) movement from Shaftiel and Equitant.

I cut out most of the intro because honestly, it's pretty stupid to have almost two entire minutes of wind + guitar feedback noises... it's my least favorite part of the album and it unfortunately also happens to be on my favorite track of the album. Oh well.

The amp being used is, as usual, the Axe-FX Ultra (software 10.0). The patch is a combination of a boosted SLO 100 and a Metal Zone running into a RedWirez cab (don't remember what model).
