How to fill and flush a solar thermal system

We will talk you through how to fill and flush the system to get all of the air out and how to use the controller. You will see what flow rate to set it at and how to maintain the system yourself by pressuring the expansion vessel.

This cylinder replacement was done free of charge to get Kingspan to send out a new one. I had to finish the job before 3pm and had to also make a video of servicing the cylinder and lagging it. There are a few mistakes as my mind drifts off however in future videos I will address these and explain all of the functions properly.

2 years ago a former Kingspan employee purposely sabotaged systems at the properties he serviced so this is not a fault of Kingspan themselves. Their engineers are trained well. I worked for them from 2018 until 2020 until covid hit. I'm a manufacturer-trained engineer in Solar thermal, rain water harvesting and cylinder services.
