Join me as I go off the beaten path, exploring the village of Saidpur in Islamabad Capital Territory, Pakistan.

Beginning at the local animal market, I’ll pass by the popular Des Pardes restaurant, admire Rama Temple, and stumble upon a potter’s shop with alluring ceramic wares. I made a few purchases after filming!

Next, I wander uphill through narrow residential passages to seek a view of the village. Unexpectedly, I am invited into the home of a local family for some chai. Seemingly the entire neighbourhood shows up, and I spend some time playing and dancing with the cheerful children.

I had an unforgettable experience, and I’m grateful for the unwavering kindness and genuine hospitality of this community.
