Entire Length of the A1 - London to Edinburgh [TIMELAPSE]

Описание к видео Entire Length of the A1 - London to Edinburgh [TIMELAPSE]

What better way to go from a meeting in Central London back to Edinburgh than on the longest A-road in Britain? (Probably up the M6).

This was one of those things which seemed like a good last second decision, but ended up being a couple of hours of detour. Wouldn't recommend, especially if you don't already have a reason to be driving in the congestion charge zone.

FAQ:

Q: How long did this take in total?
A: Total for the day's driving was just over 11 hours, 500 miles. This included getting into Central London in the morning rush hour from Surrey as well as leaving Edinburgh in the evening rush hour to get back to Glasgow. Total for just the A1 was probably about 8 hours or so. I got lucky and didn't hit too much traffic on the A1.

Q: How many stops?
A: Just the two. One at Peterborough services and a quick fuel stop at Berwick-upon-Tweed.

Q: Tips for doing this?
A: Don't, unless you're really set on it.

Q: Music?
A: Music by Karl Casey @ White Bat Audio
