This was the hardest custom campaign we have played so far, not only on special delivery but in all the mutations we have played. Every chapter was stressful, but the 2nd, 4th, and 5th chapters were especially unbelievable. The spawns were extra obnoxious spawning non-stop SI both from behind and in front of us at many points. The 4th chapter was like this almost the whole time. Additionally, the 5th chapter was the first ever chapter we played where we couldn't complete all of it in one attempt. The whole chapter was stressful, including surrounding spawns like the 4th chapter, and instead of a boss fight in the middle of the chapter, we had to fight an immortal tank at the very end. Even getting to the boss fight was extremely difficult due to the length of the chapter, so we ended up cheating and spawning ourselves at the boss fight in the next attempt with the same health and items we had from that point in the previous attempt. At that point, the last section of this chapter took us about an hour. Looking back, I would not have wanted to play through the whole chapter again for hours just to die from the borderline-impossible tank fight or the maximum number of SI spawning in front of us as we're running from the tank. In most of the attempts, there was usually only one person not incapacitated, and it was impossible with all the spawns. Overall, this campaign took over 8 hours with around 40-50 restarts.

Special Delivery: A variation of Hard Eight, with the maximum number of Special Infected raised from four to eight. Additionally, the spawn timer of Special Infected has been removed. To offset the larger number of Special Infected, Common Infected along with Uncommon Infected do not spawn. Special Delivery is the first community Mutation officially released for both PC and Xbox 360, created by Rayman1103 from his custom Mutations mod.
