EROS & THANATOS is the first track of the album INTRICATIONS QUANTIQUES which will be released in 2020 in the United States under the highly sought after label of TIME RELEASED SOUND, and in France in direct distribution at the artist WATINE on her Bandcamp.
It follows on from the GEOMETRIES SOUS-CUTANEES album released in 2019 (several clips) and the trilogy will end in 2021 with a new album.

With this album largely dominated by her instrument, Catherine Watine celebrates the tradition of a cosmic piano which, from Sokoulov to Alan Parsons, Stephen Jones or Pink Floyd, uses the piano as a telescope to explore the stars and as a microscope to scrutinize atoms.
The entire universe is contained in a box of emotions that the artist opens and takes with her everywhere. Her piano is neither talkative nor romantic.
