Zermatt & Matterhorn 🌄🌞 // Best Hikes in Switzerland - Valais // Discover the World

I am always on the search for the best hikes in Switzerland. This hike in Zermatt was definitely one of them with amazing PANORAMA views of the Swiss Alps and of course the famous Matterhorn!

How to get there and my hiking trail:
Take train to Zermatt
Take the cable car up to Sunnegga
Hike towards Blauherd, and then continue until you reach Stellisee
I returned the same way I came due to the bad weather, but there would have been a few other options for a different way down.

Zermatt also has many other hiking paths as well for every level of hiker. If the weather had been better, I would have probably tried to do either the "5-Seeweg" which is the 5 Lakes Hike (I have done it once before), or then the new-to-me hike from Gornerat via Grünsee to Sunnegga. Maybe next time 😎
